I will be receiving the parts to my build in about two days and the motherboard I picked has wifi go from asus on it. The board is the p8z77-V motherboard from ASUS. Since time warner is cheap and would not register another modem without bumping up an extra $50 a month on my bill I have to resort to wireless for my desktop. Which I really do not want since wired connections are the best. I have looked all around searching for different things about the wifi go card on the asus motherboards but haven't found anything about how powerful the signal and the speed of it actually is. I've only found things on it controlling tv's and tablets and things like that, which I have absolutely no care for. My only concern is how good of a wireless adapter is it really and how would it compare to say something like the ASUS PCE-N53 Dual-Band Wireless-N600 Adapter
Or similar high end wireless adapters. I need to know if I should buy a wireless adapter instead because I need my connection to be good. Very good. This is a $2,000 machine we are talking about. I'm not going to just be surfing the web. I want to make sure the connection capabilities of the wifi go card will be adequate enough to suit my needs. If it isn't then please I would very much appreciate any suggestions on a better card and a good router also. Thank you in advance.
