Wireless powerline problem

Just made a new build hooked it up to the router, with no problems however when I plug the Ethernet into the powerline, there is only an unidentified network available which I cannot access internet through. As my computer is upstairs I can't root it from the router to the computer so I need the powerline to work. If it helps the powerline was free with the bt infinity (Simpler networks).

The unidentified network is the one created by Powerline and you need to configure it so you give it a name. Security isn't an issue because it's a wired connection. Find the address of it using Command Prompt and ipconfig /all then find the Default gateway for the ethernet connection and use that address to go into the powerline's settings.

Just checked it out and the default gateway is just blank.
