Connecting a Cisco Linksys router to a RCT Line Interactive UPS

Hallo everyone i'm new here i just bought a new Cisco Linksys router and RCT Line interactive UPS i just want to connect my router to the UPS the UPS has ports for line in and line out but my router only has a line in. What do i do i thought about connecting the line in directly to the UPS and the line out from the UPS to the router only using telephone cables there is no power cable from the router thats going to be attached to the UPS.

You've stumbled upon the answer. Yes, you run the line into and out of the UPS, and on to the router. The UPS is acting as an in-line filter. That's exactly the way it's supposed to work.
