Connection Speed

I have a MN-510 adapter that is onnly getting 11 mbps
while my base station is running at 100 mbps. I have the
base station in another room with my cable Internet. Can
I only expect this poor level of performance? What if
anything can I do to improve this performance? I run on
Windows 95.

Hi,

The MN-510 USB Wireless 802.11b device can only go up to 11megabits per
second.

The device is wireless while your base station and any connections to a
client machine via a network cable would yield 100megabits per second.

If you would like faster performance you can upgrade to the MN-700 Wireless
G Base Station and also a wireless G 802.11g network card for your computer.
This will give you speeds up to 54megabits per second.
