Can 4:6 memory setting destroy memory?

Hello,
I have one stick of Corsair 256MB PC3000C2 memory on Asus P4S533 w/ P4 2.26Gz. When I change cpu-to-mem ratio from 4:5 to 4:6, it gives me a +400 points in Sandra memory scores (but I change the CL to 2.5). 3Dmark 2001 does not crash. Can 4:6 cause any damage to memory at intense use or it will just crash the windows? How exactly can I find what the Mhz my memory is running at?
Thank you in advance.

Do the math, 133MHz bus x 6 / 4 = 200MHz, aka DDR400 speed, aka PC3200 speed. You may or may not pull this off, is your memory hot? The only way to get the proper 150MHz speed for your memory is to set it at 1/1 aka 4/4 and overclock your bus speed to 150MHz. This would also make your CPU run at 2550!

Run at least one pass of memtest86. If it doesn't report any errors, thne you're fine. Corsair PC3000 handles up to 500MHz in some cases.
