Change of icons in windows 7

Hello,
my icons for Computer, Documents and the drivers except C:/ have been changed to some that looks like a blank page with a window opened in it(i think the basic one) and that of all the folders have been changed to the Computer icon. In the same case, when i view these from download page, all have the recycle bin icon. What can i do to fix this problem?

Right-click on an empty location on the desktop.


Select "Personalize" from the pop-up menu.

Click the "Change Desktop Icons" text link in the left column of the window. The Desktop Icon Settings window opens.

Select the check boxes next to each Desktop icon and then click the "Restore Default" button.

nothin takes place on doing that... no change
