Yea the only thing you can do if a driver stopped working is either ignore it or try a different driver. If it times out it could be a bard card but right now i am agreeing with Mal.
what kind of card are you running?
I have a 460 and every time I try to update past 275.33 I always get that error.

275.33 and 280.26 are great drivers.
285.xx are crap.
