Connecting wireless router to another?

I know this been explained on the internet but i still need help...

My setup is a cable modem, i have a Ethernet cord going from my cable modem into a netgear wireless router, in my netgear i have a t-mobile hotspot also which is connected to 1 out of the 4 ports on the netgear, and in the second port it is going out to my desktop computer, now i need help connecting my linksys to the netgear when i hook it up into the third port and try to connect to wifi on my phone or a laptop it show it listed and it let me connect but it give me no connection even if I'm right next to it but i have used my nook tablet to connect and it did once or twice but other then that it wont work... ANY SOLUTIONS??

Have you tried changing the channel on the linksys to make sure they are both not on the same. Also is the cable going to the WAN port on the linksys?
