Was just thinking that this would be a good topic of conversation. I personally think it is a great idea. Already seen an interview with a Manhattan lawer who is looking forward to all the trade he will get from the new source of divorce cases.
Just thought I'd mention that although I think it is a great idea I am not a turd burglar , no offense meant for any of the friends of Dorothy I know are out there[/Humour]. Also Think I should mention that I am not asking this question in order to poll north Americans/Canadians in a subversive and tactful in a way, and do not wish to be taken in for questioning.[/counter measures for Sod]

The dudes and dudettes where I work would be all for it...(Marion Correctional Inst.) Their ceremony at this moment is called jumping the broom. They hold hands and jump over a broom together. Considering that there is a good chance of a lot of these marraiges being nulled I wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of people get married just to shock their parents.

All non-MA residents can't be married there.

I saw the percentage of FOR people on CNN who would vote for a representative that was for it (I think for presidential candidates), I believe it was 13-86. So while it's a great thing, I'm pretty conscious it won't last. If it does however, it will be done pretty subtly, if not hidden.

What bothers me is prosecuting someone who gives them such marriages. (from the last sentence I read in that article which I didn't entirely read) That is simply NOT right. Just because you are making two people reunite and be happy, doesn't make you a goddamn heretic from hell. And it just reminds me so much of old Middle Age times or the old 19th century times, where trying to do something that won't even harm people on the street walking, will get you taken in.

The governor says that he's going to enforce that statute and hold the clerks responsible, but some of the clerks are already handing them out, anyway, as long as they sign some other document. Saw some dudes from Anniston, AL mentioned.

I didn't say it meant physical cash just sitting there. I equated it to money FLOW. The exchange of money for other things. Yes, we trade goods, and services. A lawyer who has more opportunities for more divorce cases has an opportunity to trade more of his services for money.
