Very 'tiny' jams (about 0,1 secs)

I finally got my video card to work (Asus V7700 GeForce 2 GTS Deluxe with detonator 27.42) but theres very tiny jams every second for 0,1 seconds (about). Is this about Vsync, buffers or?

WinXP
(Im not sure but this didn't show up on OpenGL games; altough not sure.)

I was having the same problems with my system. It started after installing the "recommended" upgrades to WinXP from MS's website. I am not sure which one of the files is responsible. I haven't done any upgrades/patches/anything to XP since my last re-format, reinstall. I also haven't had the problems of my video stuttering either. Hope this was of some use.
