Taskbar turned grey + Other Errors

Mornin' , My taskbar has turned grey and all of my applications are disabled and system restore doesn't fix either Please help as this gets in the way of excessive work

Have you run AV & malware scans ? - Could have picked up infection. And if that is the case, the restore backup could also contain it, depending how recent the backup was. - Otherwise try repair-install the OS.
