Acer Aspire able connect to router but cannot go to Internet

Hello, my acer aspire 7551-7422 connects to router (with wire or wireless) but no internet connection.
Tech support from ATT did not help me, they told that something wrong with NIC card/local adapter and I need help from Acer directly.
Acer tech support asked me to pay $130 and they will fix it online for 5 minutes. And they told that this issue does not covered by warranty.
Does somebody can help me with this issue?

Try pulling the power plugs on your modem and router (or if you have a 2wire gateway, just on that one box) and plugging them back in again.
