Hi fellas,
I've been having some problems lately with the sound while playing a DVD movie on my PC. Problem is... there's no sound at all, no matter which DVD software I use. Region code is correct and DMA is enabled. Image is crystal clear though. The drive is a Pioneer 106S. Music CDs work fine.
I'm quite confused!
Any thoughts?

Do you have a true audio cable attached to it from the mobo?

To the sound card, yes!
Music plays fine using that drive.

I would guess that a setting is pointing to the wrong drive or something. Perhaps in your DVD software or sound software setup.

I think I figured it out (yes, took me a while). I only had the analog cable attached to the sound card. Will attach a digital one as well. See if that works.
I turned everything upside down in my PC before I thought of that while reading another thread.
