Need help with getting my Goflex external drive to work again.

I must have deleted the info that comes on the Goflex external 500mg hard drive. I used it to watch moves often. I also had it full. After a while i would get an error message asking me to format. So I did an now it can't be recognized on my gateway window 7 computer. Can you help me Thanks,

Is a drive letter assigned to the drive ? (disk management)
