How do i get my Samsung DVD player to send the sound directly to the sound card (Audigy Ex), or external amp (Inspire 5700), for the decoding of DTS and Dolby Digital, while playing a movie. I do not want software (power DVD XP)to decode the sound, as i have it now!

Is this possible to do??
To use my DVD ROM like an external DVD Player???
To get my sound card, or amp to directly decode sound instead of software???

You have to have the Analog and Digital input wires hooked up to the soundcard, they are separate from the ribboncable.
