DAoC will PROBABLY run on an 8MB video card provided the drivers are new enough to support DX8. I'm running a T22 with an 8MB Savage IX w/MV vid card, and it's tolerable. The frame rate has a slight flicker to it, and black text won't show up in the chat bar (thats the worst part, may be a result of the LCD? DAoC had no way to help me, maybe they'll add the option to change the default text color to white, then it'd be fine). So, the game will probably run on an 8MB card, just don't expect GF3 quality out of it.
