hi
we just got satellite tv. since the quality of the tv now is SOOOO much better, i would like to record shows (not so much movies as we buy them) onto a dvd. i know there are dvd recorders out there, but how well do they work? so what is everyones opinion on the dvd recorders that are out?
picture quality? basically do they work? any cons?

DVD recorders will work fine in your case. I couldn't think of any cons... perhaps high price and compatibility issues.
