Hello,
I currently have a small DSL network with 1 W2K Box and a Redhat Box behind a FR314 Netgear Firewall/Router. I am trying to find a solution that will allow me to remotely (and securely) connect to either the Redhat or W2K box. From that connection I would like to have full control over the other box as well. I would be connecting mostly from a Windows environment to my home environment. I have looked, and searched all over, but can't seem to find a solution.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

setting up a VPN can seem like a hell of a lot of work because most of the articles ou there are written for corporate users who have to be extremely cautious with security, hundreds of users, etc. Its really quite simple and easy to set up for home users with only a small network like yours. I would go into a long spiel about how to do it, but the labmice link below simply rocks. if you cant figure out how to set up a vpn after reading these short articles, then god bless ya amigo......
