Network Adapter Driver

So I recently built my own pc & I connected it to the ethernet cable and it seems that it doesn't have the Network Adapter Driver so it doesn't pick up any internet. How can I fix this?

1) Go to the motherboard manufacturer's website from another computer (ie. the one you used to post this) and look up your motherboard model from the support or downloads page.

2) Locate the driver that corresponds to your operating system (ie. Windows 7 64 bit).

3) Copy the driver onto a USB drive and then move it to your new computer.
4) Install the file you downloaded (provided it's an EXE, if it's a ZIP you might have to extract it first) on your new computer and you should be in business!
