I've accused you of supporting piracy, and you have.

So I accuse you of supporting piracy, which you did. And now I'm to
be believed because I'M a pirate? You're a riot kid.

Don't support piracy and I won't have to.

PS: I hardly need to impersonate you, you do a fine job of showing
us what a hypocritical liar you are all by yourself.

Anything good? I'm wondering what to get next? As the only true PC
Gamer in the village, can you tell us what you bought and what you
think of them? I find first-hand experience is always better than
reviews when choosing what to buy.

Right up until you said it was ok for people to pirate HL2.

No one is making you buy Valve games.

You're trying to justify piracy because you don't like Steam.

What's it like to play? Is the AI any good? Are the graphics and sound
good? Do the weapons feel "realistic"? Are the levels well designed and
full of interesting corners and surprises? Is it a simple
shoot-the-enemy-and-move-forward game, or are their alternative routes
to proceed? Is it all fighting, or is their stealth, or do you need to
pick up objects? Any RPG elements (eg like Deux Ex)? Does it have
Quicksaves (like HL), checkpoints (like FarCry) or neither (like IGI)?
Is the storyline interesting? Are there any "spectacular" moments in
the game (like the dam in HL)?

Any other good games you've played recently that you can recommend?

Really? I've listed more than 200 games I've purchased, you won't
even tell people the three games you bought this month.

Given that you can't even afford 10 Euro a year for your news
provider, I doubt you can afford even one game a month.

Seriously, I will in fact not buy any game which has starforce
protection. Or any other proactive protection. And if the copy
protection annoys me in any way, e.g. through swapping, I will apply
no-CD patch.

Two questions.

1. How do you find out what copy protection is on the game prior to buying
it? (You use some web site?)
2. What proactive protections are on your do not buy list besides
StarForce?

Yep. But it would be more accurate to say that I'd forget to check,
buy the game, then spend half an hour shouting at the clerk to take it
back.

None. It was an attempt at future-proofing my statement.
