im building a server with 5 80gb hard drives. 2 on the system partition (mirrored) and 3 on the other partition (raid 5). can someone suggest a good tape drive for data backup?

Yes you can use it with your setup, or if you prefer removable here is another <A HREF="http://rss.seagate.com/products/srssDrives/travanMain.html" target="_new">External Tape Drive</A>. If you aren't needing a lot of storage use a CD burner.

that 20gb is pretty good, but i can actually go as high as $1000. do you know of annything decent for that $$? maybe a 40gb? the ide interface is preferred, but i could add a scsi card if necessary.
