Installing a New SSD drive on a Win 7 64x Pro System.

Hello,

Currently I am using 1 500GB SATA on a Win7 64 Pro system.

I am attempting to install/add a SSD. The BIOS does see the drive. But after the BIOS gets done with its check, Windows never loads.

Attempting to use F8 or F5 does not seem to do anything. Disconnected the SSD, and reboot, and Windows boots fine.

How do I get Windows to load while having the SSD connected?

Have you checked if there is new bios for your board? Is the port you are adding your

SSD to set to AUTO, and not to NONE

Bios is up to date. Auto, and as I said above, Bios detects the drive just fine.

Perhaps the computer is booting to the solid state drive?

I checked the boot order, and the 500GB SATA is set up to be the Boot Drive.
