Hi,
I have a SOny VAIO PCGFX505 laptop running Win 2K server. Everything has been fine for ages until yesterday...

The mouse & keyboard are VERY slow and unresponsive- each key click requires and effort - no touch typing here! Mouse is juddery in Windows as well.

I believe this is not a Windows issue as the typing problem occurs in the boot BIOS screen as well.

The laptop is virtually unusable in this state.

I have not contacted Sony yet as I know they wont do anything without the original O/S on there.

Any ideas?

Well, think back to what happened yesterday. Something must've happened to have caused something like this.
