I apologize in advance if this is the wrong group for this question. Also
please forgive me if it sounds like I don't know what I'm talking about,
because I am very new to this stuff.

I have a Digitech GNX4 which came with Pro Tracks Plus mixing software. The
software works fine when I have my computer connected to my GNX4
workstation. I can here output and do mixing. But what I want to be able
to do is upload the MIDI files that the GNX 4 creates for each track you
record and do mixing when my computer is not connected to the GNX4.

The problem I'm having is that the Pro Tracks Plus software does not
recognize that I have any MIDI output sources selected. The only one that
shows up in the list for setting the MIDI outputs is the Microsoft MIDI
Mapper. I have no idea if it is a valid "output", but it's in the list and
selected. But when I close the dialog it still thinks I need to select some
MIDI output. And I guess if you don't have any MIDI output sources you
can't here anything.

Any ideas what might be going on here?
