cakewalk parametric eq on sonar3

hi all!

since now i used sonar 1 for my project and now i'm using sonar 3.
in the sonar 1 version the program run a own parametric eq different from
sonar 3 eq.

all my project use a lot of the sonar1 eq and now i have to run it in the 3
version

i tested that sonar 1 eq is compatibile with sonar 3 (that see the eq as an
external plugin) installing both sonar 1 and 3 on the pc but i only need the
eq.

now i want to install only the plugin without installing the entire sonar1
so i found that sonar1 eq is based on a file called ParametricEq.ax ;

copyng this file to the plugin shared folder of sonar 3 is not enought... i
think this eq must be registered in the system configuration registry or
similar.

how can i install only the parametric eq?
