I am using a SlingBox for all my PCs (1 desktop and 2 laptops) to watch TV. When I watch TV on the Dell Inspiron laptop with wired connection , the Slingplayer will report band width problem and ask me to reduce the resolution. This should not happen because the Slingbox is on the same 100 mb LAN as my Inspiron. I have wireless connection from my home router. If I switch to use wireless connection on the Inspiron, it works fine. I have another laptop and a desktop. They both works fine. So the problem is only happening on my Dell Inspiron Laptop wired connection side. The inspiron has i5-2430 and 6G of ram, running WIN 7 home premum SP1. I have no problem in normaly daily work with the wire or wirless connection using the Inspiron.
I was wondering if there is any setting that I can check to see to help me to nail down the problem.
