Pop-up Virus. PLEASE HELP!

Yesterday I started getting a porn site pop-up window every 15 minutes or so. I share my comupter with 2 other people, who 'say' they didn't download anything. I've search EVERYWHERE for any new files. I came across a folder and some files named "fastdown", which I deleted. But the porn pop-up windows continue to come. Is there a way to search my system for all new files that have been created within the last 2 days? Or a way to see what file was accessed, the next time the pop-up occurs?

man..my little brothers computer does the same exact thing!
i dont know what it is...and he said that he hasnt installed anything new, and he is getting all pissed because it happens when he starts the computer, and when he is just sitting there.
i cant remember the site it was advertising..but he used windows xp rollback to go to a previous date, and everything was better...i think...havent heard him complain.
but that is REALLY weird that they would advertise like that....they should be reported.

If you didn't see that other thread you posted in about this same problem, jc14all posted a recommendation:

Try this, delete all the porn cookies and see if that annoying bug goes away with porn pop-ups. It may be a simply cookie, but make sure you don't kill the cookies to your necessary websites. This is the safest thing I can tell you to do because I never heard of a program as you decribed. If this doesn't rid it, then it is hiding somewhere else, possibly registry. Hope you find it!

I hope it solves your problem. If it does, please post back so I can bookmark this for future reference. Thanks!
