my motherboard supports both ddr and sdram im not sure which one i should get. i already have 128mbs of pc2100 ddr (by the way its showing as 131mbs at post can someone tell me why plz). I was thinking about getting another 128mbs ddr however i was thinking to just not get the ddr and get 384mbs of sdram, which should i get guys thanx..

The DDR has twice the bandwidth, and you probably don't need more than 256MB, so that would be your best option. Now, the terminology, if you only had 131mbs memory you WOULD have a performans problem (mbs is megabits per second, PC2100 has 2100 megabytes per second). The board reports your memory in bytes though, as 131,072 bytes. Devide that by 1024, not 1000, to get Megabytes, and you'll end up with a normal number, 128MB.
