All Pros familiar with "ZONE" & Crimson Skies

Having problems with multiplayer in the Zone playing Crimson Skies trial version . At the Zone , they have many rooms devoted to multiplayer & one room devoted to where you just need the trial version to play .

I have the trial version & at the Zone , it never seems to work . Here's what I encounter .

I either host or join a game , it does'nt matter .
The game is launched & I'm taken to the options screen where you choose weapons , type of plane etc.
The game is launched from that screen & it says "waiting for" (whoever the host of the game is)
Little less than a minute later the game starts but I'm the only one playing ....... No other planes are present (I know pressing "E" shows next target) but there are none except the "re-arming" building .

I'm connected at usually 50.6K & have installed & reinstalled thier software with no luck .

Win2000 Pro / directX 8

MSI K7tTurbo / latest Via 4in1 4.35
512mb ram
Elsa Gladiac 32mb / latest WinXP 21.83
