My fan in making noise in my PS and I have never taken one apart. Is the fan replaceable? What connector do they generally use? If it stops working will my PS melt down?

Sorry I don’t know what brand name it is, it came with my case (fung’ki I think it was).

Thx in advance.

You can replace the fan in PSU. You can just open the PSU to see what connector the fan uses.

OK thx, For some reason I thought the fan might be hardwired in there.

But of course right now it’s running quiet as could be so I’ll probably put it off until it just stops :)

Thx & Cya

Some cheaper type PSU's fans are hardwired in, anyway just remove the mains power and discharge and residual power by pressing the start button before removing. But I am sure you know that. I would not wait for it to fail either, I had one start a small fireworks display in my office from a dead fan.
