Bruce Hornsby at The Ryman

Saw a show there last night...anybody go? Ricky Skaggs sat in on mando a few
tunes and all they had was a mic on him. Looked like maybe a Shure KSM 32 or 44
I dunno. Once they got it dialed in you could hear it pretty well.........is
there one of these larger diaphram Shures that is more more suitable than the
other for live playing(with a drummer) as in pattern & all that stuff?
Hornsby's Band plays full tilt at times & you could hear the mando pretty well
- although that is an evil instrument unto itself & does cut .
