How to remove someone from your wifi

Hello,
im currently not running a router but comcast xfinity wireless and i download a program that detected someone on my wifi network so now how do i get rid of them?? if im not running a wireless router ?? thanks in advance

Comcast Xfinity is just a wifi hotspot. And like any other wifi hotspot (McDonald’s, Starbucks, etc.), you share that hotspot’s network w/ other users. That’s entirely normal. Is it a potential security risk? Yes. That’s why some ppl use a VPN, to encrypt their data in the local area of vulnerability (i.e., the local hotspot network).
