Running LE on a Digi 002rack, powerbook g4 1.5ghz.
I recorded some sessions last week on a lacie 250gb fw800 drive. This week
when I go to run them I am met with the wonderful greeting of: original disk
allocation cannot be used.... audio files on volume unsuitable for playback.
If I try to open a new session, saving to the fw drive, I am informed : the
session must be on an audio record volume. I can't think of anything I may
have done to the computer or PT to cause this change.

Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated, as i have a great space to go
record some drums, but don't want to record to the powerbook's hard drive.

Muchas gracias.

Yzermike

Open your PT session, then open the workspace browser (main menu bar under
Window) and change any disk volumes that are labeled anything other than R
(Record) to record. Clicking on any cell in the browser under the A or V
column will open up a dropdown box where you can make the change.

My volume designations change occasionally, too. I'm not sure what causes
it, but it never seemed to happen before I started using an external drive.

Hope This Helps,
Greg
