First off, I know lots of these have been asked before but I would like a definative answer.
I am using the Virgin Media Super Hub as a modem and a netgear WGR614v9 as a router which gives me 60mbps maximum on my laptop. I have just built a new desktop pc for which I am currently using a Netgear N300 Work and Play wireless usb adapter. I want to know the best speed and range internal PCI-E Wifi adapter for £30 Maximum. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
I recently did a speed test. On my laptop I got 30mbps (it varies, sometimes I get 60mbps) and just after I did one on my desktop and it really struggled to get above 5-6mbps.
