I'm thinking about the new Presonus 10x10 Firewire, which has Mike Preamps
for each input.

Anyone have any thoughts?

hey man,

I own a Firepod, the 10x10 from presonus, and I'll tell you that it's
absolutely the best that I've put my money toward yet. Haven't had a
single problem, runs like a dream, and no noise! And lots of room to
play with. Yeah, it has 8 mic preamps, and they're all combination
jacks for XLR or 1/4 inch. I've tried MOTU, and M-Audio, and pretty
much all of them, but presonus has done me very well. Besides, the
guys there are great too, and their custom support is awesome. Try it
out, I bet you won't be disappointed.

Thanks, I believe that will be my next big buy. I just got the LaCie
firewire 800 200 Gig Hard drive, which works great, so I know the
interface is OK.
