The reason it does not update is that your antivirus is blocking the installation.

Overall a bad idea to run HP software. It clogs your system up with all kinds of garbage, including pop up ads, all day long, trying to sell you HP ink and printer supplies. A real pain in the rear to say the LEAST.
DELETE the HP apps from your programs, and JUST install the printer drivers. You need to select "custom" install when you load it. Then un-check all the "features" before you install it.
Turn off ALL the security and antivirus BEFORE loading the printer drivers. The security will BLOCK the installations.
Restart the computer after installing, then turn security back ON.
You DO NOT need all of the HP "features." I would just install the drivers, and forget about ALL the rest of them.
