How to setup netgear wnr2000v2 properly

My Netgear WNR2000v2 router has the option of either having my Nat Secure or open. I have it set to open. I have 2 360's, a wii and a laptop connected to my router. One 360 is connected by wire and the other is wireless. Is having it clicked on open sufficient enough to not have any nat problems, or should i port trigger my ports, or should i port forward and have one 360 set as the dmz server? thanks for any help

see if setting it to NAT Secure and have UPnP enabled will work


since you have more then one device that needs to use the same port, port forwarding will not work.

as soon you have devices that require access to the same port(s) port forwarding and port triggering will not do any good.

So, how would I go about having my NAT open for xbox live on 2 xbox's on the same router?

make sure UPnP is enabled on the router
