I'm using a Pc Partner board with 1.6g P4, 256mb ram and Geforce 256 graphic card. Every time I swith on the computer I have to switch the reset button as well if not it wont boot up. I can only see the power button on and the harddisk running some while and nothing happen after then if i only press the power on button.Someone can kindly help me solve this problem ? Thanks.

Ive heard about it before, but dont know exactly what it is, something about a 'cold reboot'. Im sorry but someone else will have to explain further...

Looks like you may have a defective mobo or PSU.
Power feed may be too low.
What's the power of your PSU and what kind?
Be also more specific about the brand of mobo.
If you have access to another PSU, try switching it.

did some one set the "led" connectors wrong?

(the ones than control the power butten to tell the motherboard to start running.) (or the ones to reset it)
