Internet half works? Wireless internet problem

Hey,

every now and then my internet stops working except for two sites, gmail and twitter. resetting my WLAN adapter via device manager fixes this problem, and ive already reinstalled the driver (Atheros) .


A wired connection solves this problem but where im at has been always able to get wireless internet until we switched to this new Cisco Rogers Router for more bandwidth. I'm using an ACER Aspire 5750G. I hear that getting USB Wireless adapter can help this problem.

its now in a better position (it was under a table beforehand), but i still occasionally am unable to start new connections while keeping existing ones (not including twitter and gmail for some reason)
