I bought a new Acer laptop and cannot get it to connect to my home internet. It keeps saying the network is unidentified. The signal strength is fine. It will connect to my I phones hot spot with no problems. We have gone through the diagnostics process, disabled the firewall to no avail. Any solutions?
If you have Bonjour installed (like from iTunes or an Adobe product) uninstall it and that will solve the problem. Just look for it in your programs control panel, right click on it and select uninstall. It blocks network adapters frequently. If needed it can be reinstalled later once your adapter is working and often doesn't cause issues then.
