Cleaning out my studio by getting rid of some non-essential stuff.
I have two JVC professional VHS duplicators, one a simple Hi-Fi, Model
BR-7000U, newly refurbed and used once on location, and a S-VHS top of the
professional line BR-S710U unit with all the connections for multiple types
of camera setups. This unit is also newly refurbed. Neither one has the
original box and probably doesn't have the manual either, but they are
pretty much self-explanatory to anyone who knows broadcast recorders. But
I'll look and see if I have any of the documentation. I don't recall any,
however.
I'm not looking for much. It's more important to get them out of the way
than the money, but I'd like to get $60 for the S-VHS unit, and $40 for the
Hi-Fi (both are Hi-Fi, but one has S-VHS inputs which certainly looks much
better with a good camera). Buyer pays for shipping because these units are
pretty heavy. It cost me about $75 to get each shipped when I purchased
them at the beginning of this year, but I've always thought that companies
charged too much for shipping in order to boost their profit margin. I'll
have to put them on the scale and find out exactly how much it would cost if
anyone is interested.
I'm also considering selling my Tascam 38 RTR (about 75 pounds in weight),
which has had only a couple of plays since it's been recalibrated and
maintenanced. I'd be willing to let it go for $300 with 2 DX-4D dbx NR
units.
All listed are in working condition, in fact, functionally like new
condition since they are refurbs. Again, buyer pays shipping. I don't
really care if any of this stuff ever leaves the studio, but if anyone is
interested contact me via email.
Oh, and a Sony PVM1350 13" Trinitron Monitor (two BNC composite video, one
Y-C (S-VHS) and RGB inputs). Very nice. I'd let it go for $120 plus
shipping.
