Hello,

I was thinking about setting up a system without a case temporarlly as a test bench, and I would like to know how to power up the motherboard without a switch from a case?

If I can hotwire it or something would it shutdown correctly or would it do as the old computers did and tell me its safe to switch off the computer?

Thankyou

You can just short the two connector for power switch with a screw driver.
