i am trying to connect to 2 computer with 1 Ethernet cable cat5 how to split the cable to connect 2 computers can any one help me thank you

What do you mean split? You don't split the cable, if you want to connect two PCs with it, just plug in one end into one PC and the other end into the other PC. If they are new computers you may not even need a cross-over cable, for older system you may need to get a cross-over network cable for the two computers to communicate.

If you mean to do something else, post some more details.
