Cant connect to the usb wireless adapter

I just recently built my computer. I have a tp link 300 mb/s wireless adapter. When I plug the adapter in, windows doesn't detect it. It makes a sound when I put it in and take it out, but other then that, It wont detect the adapter. I cant connect to the internet on that computer. The adapter works on my other pc. Just not the one I just built.

May need manual driver installation. Go and download driver, install and insert wifi adapter when prompted during the driver installation process.
