Hi I have a little problem with my stupid outdated computer.Today I bought a stick of 256 pc133 sdram for my 6735 pavilion kr system and no matter what I do it wont recogize it. I tried to put it in different slots but nothing works. PLzzz help. I cant wait any longer to play warcraft 3

My current configurations are
633 celeron
128 ram
15 gig hdd
8 megs of video ram(gonna get geforce4 mx420, i only have pci)

You might have a chipset that dont support that particular memory organisation.
I know for sure that certain old Intel chipsets (cant remember the exact numbers anymore though) only support large memory modules if they were organised in a specific way. This has something to do with the number of chips, banks etc.
Another possibility could be that your mobo requires RAM with parity ?

The RAM memory type listed in your system is "SDRAM, Intel PC SDRAM unbuffered DIMM specification, revision 1.0 compliant".

The most likely circumstance is the RAM you recently purchased is high density which would be incompatible with your PC. Exchange the RAM and request low density.
