I have a basic OEM type SB Audigy card installed under windows XP Pro with an Abit KG-7 Raid mobo. I downloaded the latest SB drivers from the Creative website but I'm getting a very annoying 'clicking' or 'popping' type noises at various times such as when I move from one program to another.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi aster,

um..i guess it is because of the VIA chipset. The VIA's 686B south bridge has bad reputation with soundcards...

So....have you download the latest VIA's 4in1 driver? or have you try to plug your sound card to different PCI slot?

If all the above is not working...then...i guess...it is your speaker or your connector, or your software...

good luck

Yes I downloaded the latest 4 in 1 driver but it was no help. I also tried other pci slot with no improvement.
