The old V60, when I had a voice mail or text message it would beep
repeatingly until I acknowledge it. That is great.
How do I set it for the V600? I look at the phone, then found out had
voicemail sitting in for days. It would be nice to have a persistant
alert.

Go to:

Settings
Ring Styles
Vib/Ring Detail
Reminders (last option at the bottom of the list)

Set to vibrate or sound.

Reminder then happens every 5 mins or so.
