Yeah I read that, it's pretty weird actually. I wonder though if the price might not be too much. However it's a start to get some people ready, or a sign that we can be ready for over 4GB RAM when 64-bit becomes needed.

yeah... but the ram is aimed at server class applications, where you need a crapload of ram in a very small space.
course this eventually filters down to us.

i must admit having 1 stick of 1024Mb PC3200 cas2 would rock quite significantly! :smile:

I never saw that split PCB idea before. Different.

What will they think of when all of it is FPBGA. That last one won't seem so odd. Either that or they will have to go back to the double width boards.
