Is it possible to transfer java (.JAR) files to a Motorola V525 from a PC
via a Bluetooth dongle? (MSI branded in may case)

I have copied MP3 files and JPG pictures without a problem, but JAR files
produce the message "Server does not support this operation".

Googling for this brings up messages suggesting pieces of software to enable
Java downloading - along with others suggesting that they are not necessary.

I've also seen suggestions that the "Motorola Phone OBEX Objext Push" object
can be used, but I am unable to drop files onto this object (doesn't
highlight). Double-clicking it produces the following message :

You don't have any contacts in Outlook Express that can be chosen as
your default business card.
Using Outlook Express add a contact and try to select a business card
again. Or, select another PIM application from which to choose your business
card.

Can anyone help here? I haven't a clue what to do next..

Thanks

Adrian

I'm not sure what u mean. right click on which icon? I've created a new OBEX
icon, but it behaves exactly the same. I can't drop anything on it, and if I
try to open it, I get :

You don't have any contacts in Outlook Express that can be chosen as
your default business card.
Using Outlook Express add a contact and try to select a business card
again. Or, select another PIM application from which to choose your business

what do I do?

As another poster suggested, I d/led PST, but it refuses to connect to my
phone. I'm sure this is simple to fix, but I'm completely baffled.

I did as you suggested. From there I downloaded PST, but I can't get it to
connect to my phone. I'm completely baffled.
