So if it will not run at 400mhz then will it run at a slower speed or not run at all can some1 help me.
Samsung makes quite good RAM, so I dont think it should be a problem. But I suggest that you only buy 1 stick. (E.g. go for 1*512 MB instead of 2*256 MB). Anyway if you have problem at that speed you can just relax the timing/frequency of the RAM in the BIOS. There is no problem with running fast RAM at a slower speed, except that you (obviously) dont get the full bandwidth.
